Why is Obama doing nothing to prevent precious domestic winds from crossing over the border, free for the taking by foreign energy developers. Remember not too long ago it was the Chinese communist that were going to go after the oil in the gulf under the Bush/Cheney administration. There was also rumors that China was going to buy sections of the grid in the gulf for drilling from the USA. An article about a month ago showed the state of Alaska was thrilled that China wanted to buy their oil and gas, would be good for Alaska. Americans paid for the Alaskan pipe line and have gotten the shaft over it while oil goes to other countries for a better price.

It's just as the "evil energy users" said; Russia and China will drill off our shores while Congress and the current president choke off our supply of oil and jobs while driving up the cost of living. If enough Americans wake up before the next election, maybe we can have part of our lives back.

I didn't realize that we have an abundance of Oil, that we don't have to import a single drop?? That would be the only reason for not drilling off shore right now...But as we all know Obama has know clue to what reality is or on how to improve the country...He only seems to know how to sink it, and has been doing a real great job of it...

Brazil is self-sufficient on bio-mass (much to the chagrin of environmentalist who would rather they NOT cut down rain forest to do it). And Iceland plans to by 100% Hydrogen in 10 years. These are but a few examples of how stifled US innovation is because of the stalemate over oil vs NOT oil.
